Clarice E. Klatt Obituary (1931 - 2008)

CLARICE E. KLATT Clarice E. Klatt died Nov. 10, 2008 at the Dunn County Health Care Center. Clarice Klatt was born on Oct. 24, 1931 to August and Clara Holzhueter. She was raised in Menomonie, attended Blodgett Grade School and St. Paul's Lutheran School, and graduated from the Dunn County School of Agriculture (Aggie) in 1949. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Menomonie. Clarice worked for a short time at the Bank of Menomonie. She married James Klatt on Nov. 23, 1951. They moved to Racine where Clarice worked at Massey Harris. She is survived by her husband James, two daughters, Marsha (Bill) Biggs of Menomonie, Diane (Richard) Bartos of Boyceville, three grandchildren, Kerry (Donna) Bartos of Eau Claire, Pam Bartos, of Boyceville and Anita (Randall) Sabot of Hammond, three great-grandchildren (Austin, Ryan, and Connor) and one sister Ethel (Gerald) Frank of Menomonie. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Clara Holzhueter. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, Nov. 14, 2008 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Menomonie, with Pastor Roy Harrisville officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Menomonie, Dunn Co., WI. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.
