Clarence R. Bryan Obituary (1932 - 2010)

CLARENCE BRYAN Clarence Bryan born on December 28, 1932 jumped into his Model A Ford Pickup on September 8, 2010, in the early morning hours headed to heaven. He will be joining his two children Christine who went to heaven in 1974 and Thomas, who went to heaven in 1975. Clarence served many years in law enforcement for the City of Menomonie, and later as a Dunn County Traffic Officer until his retirement. Clarence owned and operated an excavating business in Menomonie for 45 years. He was able to leave this business, C.R. Bryan and Sons Excavating, in the hands of his boys, being Curt, John, Jesse and Clint. He had much peace knowing that they continue to run his business with the hard work and integrity that as the "boss" were his work ethics. Clarence is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ann. His sons, Dave Bryan and Curt (Dawn) Bryan. His daughters, Kathryn Arnold, Peggy (John) Zack and Colleen (Dan) Tischman. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Carrie, Clint, Jesse, Leigh, Maggie, Chad, Erik, Cory, Ryan, Andrew and Aaron, Johnnie, Chloe, Cody, Colten, Carly and Mason. Clarence's surviving siblings are his brothers; Darrel (Jo) Bryan and Ron (Arleen) Bryan and his sister Elnora (Oscar) Pearson and sister-in-law Darlene Bryan. He was preceded in death by his children Christine and Thomas, parents Darrell and Clara Bryan and his brother Lyman. Clarence will forever be remembered for his honesty, work ethics and his love and devotion to his family. He was a simple man with a simple plan--cremation, no funeral, take him deer hunting in November and take care of Ma.
