Christopher J. Hanson Obituary (1979 - 2018)

Christopher Joel (CJ) Hanson, age 38, passed away unexpectedly at his Auburn, WA home, on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. He was born on May 25, 1979 in San Diego, California to Joel A Hanson and Darlene (Rossiter) Hanson. He lived his life with gusto in Wisconsin, California, Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, and Washington State. Chris began his love of programming when he was 5 years old, and became a brilliant software engineer, with a career spanning industry, most recently at Amazon.com. He loved to play guitar and tinker and could fix (or break) just about anything. He was a wonderful friend, husband and father. Chris is survived by his wife Alayna, daughter Elis, son Robert Christopher, daughter Eva Nicole, mother Darlene (Stephen) Frey, father Joel (Marcee) Hanson, sister Amy (Mitch) Connors, sister Sarah Hanson, sister Heather Virgilio, sister Stevie (Chris) Trujillo, brother Christopher Frey, grandmother Betty Rossiter, grandfather Gordon Hanson, grandmother Norma Hanson, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was loved and will be dearly missed by all. A Celebration of Life will be held at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie on Saturday, June 23th at 1:30.
