Arnold N. Schlough Obituary (1941 - 2006)

ARNOLD N. SCHLOUGH Arnold N. Schlough, age 65, of Wheeler, WI died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. Arnold Norman Schlough was born February 5, 1941 in Praire Farm, WI, to Norman R. and Mary (Hybben) Schlough. He attended Blairmoor Elementary School and later graduated from Praire Farm High School. After high school, he worked at Pelto Auto in Menomonie and then at Honeywell in Minneapolis, MN. On February 10, 1962, he married Mary Lou Jackson in Knapp, WI. From this union four children were born who have blessed them with twelve wonderful grandchildren. Arnie and Mary Lou resided together in the Connersville area for 6 years. In 1970, they moved to Ridgeland area and have remained there since. Over the years, Arnie has had various jobs including welding, trucking and logging. Arnie was the Ridgeland Parade chairman for the past fifteen years. His true passions in life were farming, restoring antique tractors, attending auctions, and operating his sawmill. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Arnold is survived by: His wife, Mary Lou Schlough 4 children David (Denise) Schlough of Wheeler Richard (Renee) Schlough of Wheeler Garold (LuAnn) Schlough of Menomonie Denise (Mark) Stuber of Ridgeland 12 grandchildren Tiffany and Stacey Schlough Andy, Kelly, Jesse, and Kacie Schlough Joshua, Trevor, Nicholas, and Danielle Schlough Peter and JonMark Stuber His mother and father-in-law Clifford and Vila Jackson of Knapp A sister, Arlene (David) Kraft And many other relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 23, 2006 at Hay River Lutheran Church with Reverend Erik Sevig officiating. Burial will be at Hay River Lutheran Cemetery in the Twp.
