Allan J. Bemis Obituary (1936 - 2015)

Allan J. Bemis, age 78, of South St. Paul, MN passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at his home. He was born June 14, 1936 in Menomonie, WI to Lyle and Mary (Knopps) Bemis. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960. Allan married Mary Ann Quilling. Allan is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary; daughters, Deborah (Jeffrey) Folsom and Cynthia Bemis; grandsons, Joe Bemis-St. Clair, Michael and Nicholas Folsom; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Mary and four sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Pastor Tim Matthaei officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Salem Iron Creek Cemetery in the Town of Spring Brook, Dunn Co. WI.
